Sometimes, people just want to make cool and interesting things. And sometimes games are created by one person, or by small teams, just because. Driven by the desire to get more indie games into the hands of as many players as possible, we created a platform from where we could distribute them. We then started localizing into multiple languages to overcome linguistic barriers, porting games to Steam and consoles, and contributing to widespread advertising.
